1. Who we are

Budget Planner: Family & Solo ("the App"; Bütçe Planla in Turkish) is provided by Cordelia Software, the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: cordelia.software@gmail.com.

2. Data we process

• Account: e-mail address, your name (optional), a password hash (never the password itself), and the user identifier from Apple or Google if you sign in with them.
• Budget data: the income, expenses, bills, loans (bank, amount, term, installments), credit cards (bank, a name you choose, statement and due days, balances) and payment records you enter. If you use a shared budget, also your memberships, invitations and the shared budget's records (section 5). We never ask for or store card numbers, IBANs, account numbers or banking passwords.
• Device: a push notification token; an installation ID the app creates for each install; app version, operating system and its version, and language. Error reports also include the device model.
• Technical logs: records of requests to our server (path, time, IP address, app version and platform, result, request and response content with passwords, session tokens and invitation codes masked) and app error reports, used for security and fixing problems.
• Feedback: messages you send from the "Ideas and feedback" screen.

3. Why we process it

• To run your account and the budgeting service (performance of contract),
• To send payment and statement reminders (performance of contract; you can turn notifications off at any time),
• If you use a shared budget, to show its data to that budget's members (performance of contract; section 5),
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors (legitimate interest),
• To meet legal obligations.

Your data is not used for advertising, is not sold and is not shared with third parties for marketing.

4. Sharing

Data is stored on our servers in Turkey. To deliver notifications, only the device token and the notification text are passed to Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service; the Firebase component in the app also sends Google a Firebase installation ID for the install. E-mails such as verification codes and password resets are sent through Google's Gmail e-mail service (SMTP), which receives your e-mail address and the message. These services may run on servers outside Turkey. Signing in with Apple or Google is authenticated by those providers. We share nothing else except where lawfully required by public authorities. Showing a shared budget's data to its members is sharing you ask for, not a transfer to third parties (section 5).

5. Shared budgets

A shared budget is optional; it starts when you create one or accept an invitation. If you use one:

• Every member of the shared budget sees its data (shared items, payments, shared pot records and who paid what). Other members see only the first word of your name; your e-mail address is never shown.
• Items you move from your personal budget to the shared budget are shared from the month they move; earlier months and past payments are not shared.
• When you pay a shared cost with your own money or transfer money to the shared pot, the amount and date are visible in the shared budget; the rest of your personal budget is not.
• Another member can record a payment made with your money. It affects your personal budget; the app shows it to you and you can correct it. After it is recorded, only you and the member who recorded it can change it.
• If you enter a shared part on a card statement, only that part and how much of it is paid and left are visible; unless you also show the card, its name and the statement amount are not.
• For an item you set to "Personal, members can see it", its title, amount, day, this month's status and the date it was paid are visible; for a card also its name, bank and this month's statement amount. Your notes and payment details are not.
• "Share my month result" is on by default in a shared budget. While it is on, only two of this month's figures are visible: what's left and the month-end forecast, without the carried-over balance. They are shown only while every member keeps it on. You can turn it off at any time, and it disappears at once.
• Invitations are single-use and valid for 7 days. The invitation code itself is not stored, only a one-way hash to check it. Anyone who has the link can join the shared budget; before joining they see its name, the first word of the inviter's name and the number of members. Share it only with someone you trust.
• When you leave a shared budget or delete your account, your records and paid card shares stay in the shared budget and can no longer be changed, so the other members' history does not change. If you delete your account, your name is removed from those records; free-text notes written on them stay as they are.

6. Retention

• Account and budget data: while your account exists; permanently deleted when you delete the account. Your records in a shared budget stay there without your name, as described in section 5.
• Shared budget data: while the shared budget exists. When it is deleted, each member's own payments and transfers are written into that member's personal budget as records, and the rest of the shared budget is deleted.
• Server request logs: 30 days. Error logs: 90 days. Notification delivery records: up to 400 days. When you delete your account, the request, error and notification records tied to you and your installs are deleted at once.
• Database backups are kept for at most 30 days.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data and object to processing. You can permanently delete your account and all its data in the app under Settings > Delete my account (for records in a shared budget, see section 5). 8. Security

All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Session tokens are kept in your device's secure storage.

9. Children

The App is not intended for people under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will announce significant changes in the app.
